Choosing which alerts you get

Everything important shows under the bell: absences, missing work, released grades, new charges and messages.

To choose which of these also arrive by email, open My account → Alerts, tick or untick each kind, and save.

• The same thing is never announced twice, however often a teacher re-saves.
• A few alerts can’t be switched off, such as changes to your own profile or to Administrator access.
• Text messages are separate. See Getting school texts.
