Student addresses and two-household families
AdministratorsOffice staffParents and guardians
Students take their addresses from the parents they live with.
A student’s address isn’t typed in separately. It comes from the parents they’re linked to, so when a family moves, they update their own address once and every child follows.
- Parents at the same address are one home.
- When parents live apart, the child has both homes, with the primary guardian’s first.
- A guardian marked Lives elsewhere (a grandparent, say) isn’t counted as one of the child’s homes.
- A separate mailing address, such as a P.O. box, shows under the home.
Parents update their address under My account → Your profile, or from their child’s page with Update your address.
Teachers see students but not where they live.
