Approving accounts and family links
AdministratorsOffice staff
Front office → Approvals: checking new accounts and parent–child links.
Two things wait for you under Front office → Approvals:
- Account requests: someone asked for an account from the sign-in page.
- Family links: a parent asked to be connected to a child. Approving a link is what lets them see that child’s records.
Before approving
- Check the person is who they say they are, against your records or with a phone call.
- For a family link, confirm they are a parent or guardian with the right to see that child’s records.
Faster ways to add people
- Adding a student with their parents creates and links the parent accounts in one step. See Adding a student.
- Accepting an online enrollment application does the same. See Online enrollment.
Every approval and refusal is recorded in the audit log.
